Marketers need to be constant with their content, says expert

An industry insider said that marketers need to constantly make sure they are creating content.

Mike Lieberman, co-founder and president of company Square 2 Marketing, said that regular content ensures businesses are kept in the minds of consumers and also helps to generate more leads.

Mr Lieberman also refers to statistics from hubspot.com which claim that companies who post content three times a week upwards will have a significant increase in customer conversions.

This could apply to the likes of SEO companies, content marketing and email marketing businesses.

He writes on business2community.com: "The more content you create, the more leads you will generate. There is really no limit to how much you can create."

The expert does however stress that the content needs to be of a high quality however, saying: "Quantity does not overrule quality. If you content isn't very good, this approach will not work."

Mr Lieberman also suggests a host of other tips for content marketers which will help maximise content success. These include to add educational material to content, which he claims can boost lead by up to ten times.

He also stresses the importance of links, which could lead clients and potential leads back to your website, as well as tracking the success of your content and even getting excited about what you are creating.

A fellow article also published this week, written by Kassia Gardner, the owner of content marketing company Spindle Tree also gave practical ideas for email marketers.

Suggestions included running a competition, including a poll and adding a video.
